Rao prevents the crowd from attacking and tells them to allow the cheating group to leave peacefully, advising them not to believe in them anymore. After a month, Rao is rescued by Gopala who later reveals his identity to Rao turning him into a believer. The lawsuit's verdict was in his favor and religious organisations were ordered by court to pay the compensation to all the plaintiffs. Leeladhara then plans to make Rao a messenger of god and plans to make him a divine figure acroos the country after killing him. Rao is rushed to the hospital where he slips into coma due to heavy blood loss. As he nears the end of his argument, he is fatally stabbed by a staunch follower of Leeladhara. In the next session, Rao points out a passage in the holy books which says that "This world is a creation of God, and it is his will to allow it to grow or destroy", which strengthens his case. Then, Gopala gives Rao Bhagavad Gita, Bible and Quran to go through them and find the answers. The judge orders Rao to present a written proof that will support his claim. In the next court session, defending lawyer Shankar Narayana points out that Rao has no document that can prove the disaster was an "Act of God". Rao agrees to fight on behalf of all of them. Meanwhile, hundreds of people, whose insurance claims were rejected due to "Act Of God" show up at Akbar's house and join the lawsuit. The lawsuit causes a public outcry and on Gopala's advice, Rao gives an interview to the media about his views to the public which turns viral and public opinion swings in his favour. Gopala buys Rao's house from Ramji but allows Rao to stay with him.

In all instances, Rao is rescued by Krishna, who enters his life as Gopala Govinda Hari, a consultant. In the preliminary hearing, the court accepts the case but Rao finds himself trapped amongst armed fundamentalists, with his creditor Ramji occupying the house and his wife leaving him. Legal notices are sent to the insurance company as well as to religious priests, Siddheshwar, Gopika Matha and their group's founder, Leeladhara Swamy summoning them to the court as representatives of God on earth.

Left with no choice, Rao decides to sue God in turn and after failing to find a lawyer for such a lawsuit, he meets Akbar Bhai, a disabled lawyer who helps him file the case as Rao decides to fight on his own. Rao approaches his insurance company who turn him down terming it as an act of God. A sudden earthquake causes a huge devastation and his shop gets completely demolished. Once, he obstructs a holy ritual involving his family along with others conducted by Siddheswar Maharaj, a fake Godman.
